In the words of Ouisa Kittridge from John Guare’s play SIX DEGREES OF SEPARATION, “Every person is a new door opening up into other worlds."

I have opened a variety of “doors” in my performing life, one of which has included playing the role of Ouisa Kittridge. My theatre resume includes many musicals, dramas comedies, and shows for young audiences. One of my favorite and most memorable roles was the character of Emily Webb in Thornton Wilder’s OUR TOWN, a role which launched my respect for the hard work and dedication necessary to create the life of a character from the pages of a script. In the musical, STOP THE WORLD, I WANT TO GET OFF, I had the fun challenge of transforming my character, Evie into four different nationalities. I had the unique experience of playing G-d in the title role of Sarah in a show called Sarah’s Gambit where I was instrumental in helping several brilliant scientists alter the path of a meteorite heading for the planet, Earth. Oh, the power of a woman!!

I have brought many of my theatre characters to life in my one woman cabaret show, BABES ON BROADWAY. I also offer a selection of shows which includes jazz, standards, broadway show tunes and folk music.

I’ve appeared throughout the tri-state area in summerstock, regional theatre, Westchester Broadway Theatre, Off Broadway, corporate events, first night celebrations, and many cabaret venues. I’ve done many children’s concerts and recorded a CD for children by composer John Lampkin called MARA AND SUE’S FAMILY VACATION.

I am always excited about new projects and eagerly anticipate the journey beyond each and every new "door" in my life.
